Privacy Policy
In Plain English
Here is the short version. The full policy below is what legally applies.
- FaithLinked is strictly for adults 18 and older, anywhere in the world.
- We collect your account details, profile information, photos, messages, and device and usage data.
- When you upload a photo, your device checks it shows a real face. We store a mathematical "face vector" solely to stop fake and duplicate accounts. We never sell it.
- We share data only with the providers that run the app and when the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information for money.
- By using the Service from any country, you consent to your data being processed and stored in servers that may be located outside your country.
- You can edit your profile, control notifications, and permanently delete your account from Settings.
- If you delete your account, we remove or anonymise your data within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal, safety, or fraud-prevention reasons — which we keep for as long as we determine necessary.
- We have broad rights to use and retain data to protect ourselves, improve the Service, and comply with law.

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how KairoX ("KairoX," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects information when you use FaithLinked (the "App" or "Service"), regardless of where in the world you are located. By using the Service, you expressly consent to the collection, use, disclosure, and transfer of your information as described in this Policy. Terms not defined here have the meaning given in our Terms of Service.
This Policy applies globally to all users.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
Account information: email address and password (hashed and stored securely by our authentication provider).
Profile information: first name, date of birth, age, gender, city, country, Christian denomination (optional), faith importance rating, tagline, biography, photos, languages spoken, relationship preferences, lifestyle information, and any other information you voluntarily provide.
Verification data: on-device facial-detection results and derived mathematical face-geometry vectors ("face vectors") used to confirm photos depict a real human face and to detect duplicate or fraudulent accounts (see Section 3).
Content you provide: messages sent to matches, community posts and reactions, conversation prompt responses, reports you submit, and all communications with our support team.
Usage and device data: app version, device type and operating system, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, push-notification tokens, session data, feature usage patterns, crash logs, and analytics events.
Payment data: subscription status, transaction identifiers, and entitlement data from the Apple App Store, Google Play, and RevenueCat. We do not receive or store full payment card numbers.
Inferred data: we may infer preferences, interests, or attributes from how you use the Service and use these inferences to improve matching, safety, and product features.
2. How We Use Information
We use all information we collect to:
- operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service, including matching, chat, community, and discovery features;
- verify photos, detect and prevent fraudulent, duplicate, impersonated, or underage accounts;
- personalise your experience and discovery feed;
- process and manage subscriptions, payments, and donations;
- send push notifications about likes, matches, messages, and Service updates (which you can partly control in Settings);
- investigate reports, enforce our Terms and Community Guidelines, and protect the safety and integrity of our users and the Service;
- respond to support requests, disputes, and legal claims;
- conduct analytics, research, and product development, including training internal systems and models on de-identified or aggregated data;
- comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, and governmental requests;
- protect the rights, property, and legitimate interests of KairoX; and
- enforce our legal rights and pursue remedies against those who misuse the Service.
3. Photo Verification and Biometric Information
To keep profiles authentic, FaithLinked performs on-device facial detection when you upload a photo and generates a face vector used solely to: (a) confirm the photo depicts a real, live human face; (b) support re-verification of your identity; and (c) detect duplicate or fraudulent accounts. Face vectors are stored securely in association with your account, are never sold or shared with third parties for advertising or commercial profiling, and are permanently deleted when you delete your account or upon a verified deletion request. By uploading any photo or completing any verification step, you expressly and irrevocably consent to this processing globally. If you do not consent, do not upload photos, but note that most Service features will be unavailable.
4. How We Share Information
We share information:
(a) With other users: limited to the profile information, photos, and content you choose to make visible and messages you send within the Service.
(b) With service providers: including Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage), Google/Firebase (push notifications, sign-in, crash reporting, and analytics), and RevenueCat and the applicable app stores (subscription billing). Each provider is bound by its own data-handling terms.
(c) For legal and safety reasons: when required by applicable law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or governmental authority in any jurisdiction; or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of KairoX, our users, or the public — including to investigate fraud, security incidents, or reports of underage or harmful use.
(d) In a business transaction: in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganisation, financing, bankruptcy, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, in which case your information may be transferred as a business asset.
(e) To protect KairoX: we may share information with legal counsel, auditors, insurers, or other advisors to protect our legal rights, enforce our Terms, or manage our business.
(f) With your consent: for any other purpose with your prior consent.
We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration.
5. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active and for as long as we determine necessary thereafter to: comply with legal obligations; resolve disputes and enforce our agreements; prevent fraud and abuse; maintain safety and moderation records; and protect the legitimate interests of KairoX. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except that we may retain indefinitely: moderation records, ban records, report records, safety logs, transaction records, legal holds, and any data required by applicable law or needed to protect KairoX's rights. Backups and derived data may be retained for additional periods.
6. Data Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and monitoring, to protect your information from unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for any activity under your account.
7. Your Rights and Choices
You can review and update most profile information at any time within the App. You can manage push-notification preferences and certain privacy toggles in Settings. You can permanently delete your account through Settings → Delete Account, subject to Section 5.
Global users: We respect applicable data protection rights. If you believe you have rights under the laws of your jurisdiction (such as the EU/UK GDPR, UK Data Protection Act 2018, or similar legislation) to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing, you may submit a request to kairoxsolutions@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable time. We reserve the right to verify your identity before processing any request and to decline requests where permitted by law or where they conflict with our legitimate interests, legal obligations, or rights.
Note: exercising data rights does not entitle you to a refund of any fees paid.
8. Children's Privacy
FaithLinked is strictly for users 18 years of age and older worldwide. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn or reasonably suspect that we have collected personal information from a person under 18, we will immediately and permanently ban the account and delete the associated data without notice or refund. If you believe a user may be underage, report them immediately using the in-app report tool.
9. International Data Transfers
KairoX operates globally. Your information may be transferred to, processed, and stored on servers located in countries other than your own, including countries that may have data-protection laws that differ from — and in some cases provide less protection than — the laws of your country of residence. By using the Service from any country, you explicitly and irrevocably consent to this transfer, processing, and storage. Where we transfer personal data from the EEA or UK, we rely on available transfer mechanisms (such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions) or your explicit consent.
10. Third-Party Links and Services
The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services, including Google Sign-In and app-store billing pages. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, terms, or content of those third parties. We encourage you to review their policies independently.
11. Our Rights to Use Data to Protect the Service
Without limiting any other provision of this Policy, we reserve the right to use any information we hold — in identifiable, anonymised, or aggregated form — to: detect, investigate, and prevent misuse, fraud, and safety violations; enforce our Terms; improve our moderation and verification systems; train internal machine-learning models for safety and product purposes; and pursue legal remedies. These rights survive termination of your account.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Policy at any time and in our sole discretion. We will endeavour to notify you of material changes through the App or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your irrevocable acceptance of the updated Policy. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service and delete your account.
