Safety Guidelines

Your safety matters to us. FaithLinked provides reporting and blocking tools and moderates the community, but we cannot verify every user's background or intentions, and we cannot supervise your conversations or in-person meetings. Please read and follow these guidelines, and remember: as explained in our Terms of Service, any interaction with another user, online or offline, is at your own risk.

1. Before You Chat or Meet

Keep conversations inside the app at first. Video chat before meeting in person so you can confirm the person matches their photos. Do a quick online search or reverse-image search if something feels off. Trust your instincts. If a profile or conversation feels inconsistent or too good to be true, slow down.

2. Protect Your Personal Information

Avoid sharing your home address, workplace, daily schedule, financial details, or government ID numbers until you have built real trust. Never send money, gift cards, or cryptocurrency to someone you have not met in person. This is one of the most common online scams.

3. Meeting in Person

Choose a public place for your first few meetings. Tell a friend or family member where you are going, who you are meeting, and when you expect to be back, and consider sharing your live location with them. Arrange your own transportation to and from the date. Stay sober enough to make good decisions, and never leave a drink unattended.

4. Watch for Red Flags

Be cautious of anyone who: professes strong feelings very quickly ("love bombing"); avoids video calls or phone calls; asks for money, gift cards, or financial help; gives inconsistent details about their life; pressures you to move the conversation off the app quickly; or pressures you into meeting somewhere private immediately.

5. If Something Goes Wrong

Block and report the user immediately using the in-app tools. If you ever feel unsafe or believe you are in danger, contact local law enforcement or emergency services right away, and do not wait for a response from us. 6. Our Role and Limitations

FaithLinked performs automated photo verification and offers reporting and blocking tools, but we do not conduct criminal background checks or identity verification beyond automated photo review, and we cannot guarantee the identity, intentions, or conduct of any user.
